Peer Review Process
The editorial board of the Interdisciplinary International Journal of Advances in Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities (IIJASSAH) provides direction for the journal. They encourage submissions, attract new authors, and offer professional advice on content. Both the Editorial Board and the Editorial Advisory Board consist of subject-matter experts for the publication. We invite anyone interested in publishing their original research findings with us to do so. To enhance your chances of publication, please follow the specified publication process. Contributions are routinely checked for plagiarism in accordance with Swami Vivekananda Global Academy Publication standards. Authors are expected to take full responsibility for their published research work and ensure that the submitted work has not been previously published. The IIJASSAH employs a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality, validity, and reliability of the articles, maintaining the journal's integrity and academic standards.
Here is an overview of the peer review process followed by IIJASSAH:
- Submission: Authors submit their manuscripts electronically through the journal's online submission system, adhering to the guidelines and formatting requirements outlined by IIJASSAH.
- Editorial Assessment: Upon receipt, the Editor-in-Chief and/or the editorial board reviews the manuscript to assess its suitability for the journal. They evaluate factors such as the relevance of the topic to the journal's scope, adherence to submission guidelines, and overall quality.
- Plagiarism Check: To ensure originality, every submitted paper is carefully reviewed for plagiarism. Any article found to contain plagiarism will be rejected, reflecting our strict stance against it. We emphasize the importance of maintaining uniqueness and academic integrity in scientific papers. Plagiarism threatens the integrity of research and intellectual work, and we are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in our journal.
- Peer Review Assignment: If the manuscript passes the initial editorial assessment, it is assigned to expert reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area. IIJASSAH follows a double-blind peer review process, ensuring that the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential.
- Peer Review: Reviewers thoroughly evaluate the manuscript, considering factors such as research methodology, theoretical framework, data analysis, conclusions, and overall contribution to the field. They provide constructive feedback, suggestions for improvement, and recommend one of the following decisions:
- Acceptance: The manuscript is accepted for publication without requiring major revisions.
- Minor Revisions: The manuscript requires minor revisions to address specific concerns raised by the reviewers.
- Major Revisions: The manuscript requires significant revisions and further development to meet the journal's standards.
- Rejection: The manuscript does not meet the journal's criteria for publication due to substantial flaws or lack of originality.
- Author Revision: If revisions are requested, authors receive the reviewers' comments and suggestions. They are given a specified timeframe to revise and resubmit their manuscripts, addressing the reviewers' feedback.
- Final Decision: After receiving the revised manuscript, the Editor-in-Chief and/or the editorial board evaluates whether the revisions adequately address the reviewers' concerns. Based on this evaluation, a final decision is made regarding acceptance for publication.
- Publication: Once a manuscript is accepted, it proceeds to the production process, including copyediting, typesetting, and formatting. The final version is then published in the appropriate issue of the journal.
The peer review process at IIJASSAH emphasizes fairness, objectivity, and confidentiality. It ensures that only high-quality research articles that significantly contribute to the field of business and management are published. By engaging expert reviewers, IIJASSAH maintains its commitment to upholding rigorous academic standards and promoting the advancement of knowledge in the discipline.
